One of Yonex’s most popular and best selling racquets, this is really the Babolat Pure Drive of the Yonex racquet line. It’s a super power oriented racquet.
For a stiffer tennis racquet with a higher RA stiffness rating, it is actually pretty arm friendly as well. Especially if you strung it up with a good synthetic gut at a lower tension.
They didn’t change much with this version compared to last years version of the Yonex Ezone 100. Our Yonex Rep said since is “one of Yonex’s best selling tennis racquets, why mess with something that’s been working so well.”
One of the things that they didimprove on is they changed the way that the graphite is layered in the throat of the racquet and that’s going to give you a little bit more power and better ball response like feeling.
It is a great tennis racquet for a beginner to intermediateplayer or an advanced player who hits with a lot of spin!
For intermediate to advanced players looking to dominate with controllable power and comfort.
